“Synth-drenched futuristic soul”
Leeds-based electronic soul quartet Noya Rao are bring their synth-soaked tunes and soul-filled vocals to Cobalt Studios! Since the release of their LP Icaros in 2017, with Gondwana Records the band have been celebrated on the alternative UK Jazz scene and have seen support from the likes of BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 1 and Worldwide FM. The band represented UK Jazz at SXSW 2021 and have recently been awarded the PPL Momentum Fund. With their latest self-released EP Stay in 2020, Noya Rao are poised to be hailed as the scene’s latest torchbearers.
You can expect an intoxicating mix of jazz, hip hop, and electronica.
