MY BABY + Detweiler

MY BABY rewrite the gap between rock & dance music, chucking in layers of additional sound informed by gospel and blues; singing and playing fused with ancient folk melodies.

Added to that is the rawness of seventies funk, African desert blues, Moroccan gnawa, Indian raga, tribal celebration and a touch of EDM all played on guitars and drums without using computers or samples. Its hypnotic, highly danceable and very very good. We’ve wanted to book them ever since we saw them live at Boomtown where they stopped us in our tracks and has us dancing straight away.

Support comes from synth pop siblings Detweiler who pioneer their own unique blend of vibrant instrumentation, unconventional song structures and complex, existential lyrics. Their bold, technicolour live performances fuse elements of rock, pop and club sets.
